About Us
Our Commitment
The DROM CRB Network is the union of two strategies: on the one hand, the desire to pool certified CRBs from the Overseas Departments and Regions, following the current changes in the CRB sky (Conditions for granting the MIG Research CRB grant, Certification replaced by accreditation by 2030, etc.) on the other hand, integration into the LSDengue Project submitted to the ANRS MIE, which requires the development of a CRB network with one of the largest collections of human biological samples on the subject of Arboviruses.
The DROM CRB Network is fully committed to a quality approach locally for each of the CRBs which are ISO 20387 ISO 9001 certified and also at the national level via the National CRB Network.
Also, all samples collected as part of research projects or as part of care in our establishments will be processed in compliance with the rules of ethics and information.
Our projects
The LSDengue Project
This project involves both the CRB Network of the DROMs and structures with expertise in research on Arboviruses (Institut Pasteur, CNR of Marseille, ILM, etc.)
This project was submitted in 2023 and was accepted in 2024 with a Kick-Off on October 22 and 23, 2024.
The coordinating Investigator of the project is Professor CABIE of the CHU of Martinique, also the leader of the CARBO project, whose biological resources and databases will be used via
LSDengue.
The structuring of the CRB Network was carried out within the framework of WP4 Biobanking led by Dr S.GAETE.

The other projects
Overseas populations share similarities of origin and societal characteristics which lead them to present similar and concerning pathologies in terms of public health policies.
To name a few: diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, cancers, are all challenges that the DROM Health CRB Network wishes to tackle together, in order to increase the representation of our populations in national and international studies and increase scientific and medical knowledge for better care.
